A card to believe in...

Hiya peeps

Todays blog post is for my Design Team
project for the
Not Just Cards Challenge Blog

I decided to use a very recent card which is
about a magical, fantasy inspired animal
called the Unicorn!!

I know Unicorns are all the rage at the moment
for both little girls, big girls & adults alike,
well, mainly female anyway. They are so beautiful, graceful and majestically all at the same time.

I have been drawn to the "fan club" by making
the following card as well as another one &
a mermaid (yes another fantasy creature) all
for the birthday girl (from Mum, Nan & Uncle).

For this Unicorn card I used a lovely cute digi from
Pink Gem Designs called "Birthday Unicorn" card
topper set. It fits an 8x8 inch square card but can
be altered in most photo editing software including "Paint".
I left the digi at that size, making the whole card roughly 10" (25.5cm) square. All card stock is from Papermill Direct
(in the Lake District and my favourite card supplier).
All the decoupage layers were added using foam pads, ribbons, pearls (for the number) and then the row of flower pearls are all from my own stock. The verse was taken from my stash that I have ready printed off. I cant remember where I found it.

I very much hope that I inspire you to
join in with our blog challenge,
you have until Oct 10th 9pm (GMT)

I wish to enter this card into the following challenges:
