My first post for 2 Cute Ink..........

Hiya peeps,

Yes, my first post for 2 Cute Ink on Etsy, I hope you like what you are reading and my make. The challenge can be found here: Challenge #126 and the theme is Easter

The card I decided to make is using inspiration from the digi itself, called Chickie Balloon. A gorgeous little round chick holding a cute little balloon shaped like a rabbits head.
It cried out to be coloured with watercolour pencils (but I coloured using them dry tips) and adding fun googly eyes to add a smile from which ever child I decide to give this card to at Easter. (I might have to make more using the same digi as I have ex step grandchildren that I keep in touch with).

White linen effect A4 cardstock from papermilldirect.co.uk folded in half.
Pale mint green heart & diamond lined paper from a monthly craft magazine that gives papers free on high quality paper.
The pink card used as scalloped topper holders is from papermilldirect.co.uk too.
The pink saddle stitch grosgrain ribbon & pink fine french lace are both from Crafty Ribbons
The sentiment is handwritten by me as I tried to copy the font used by Me2You (Tatty Ted)
The faux bow on the front is from my own stash
The paper I used on the inside is a high grade pearlescent paper from papermilldirect.co.uk
and lastly the scalloped pale pink edged oval is from Papermania Capsule collection (Wild Rose Die Cut notelets) which was part of a recent large giveaway crafting stash that I won from  Crafty Devils Papercraft (Facebook Page though)

I really hope you like this clean & simple card as much as I do ;0

Hiya peeps

Just a quick note first to sincerely apologise for not replying to any of your lovely comments on any of my posts. For a while now, this laptop is not letting me, for some unknown reason, to leave
comments on blogs, either as a reply or as a normal comment on someone elses blog. I have got no idea and will not know how to rectify it unless I can swop laptops with my daughter one day...
Leave it with me, I will let you know when I know something.

Half way post for Crafting Musketeers

Hiya peeps,

Just a quick post for this challenge over at Crafting Musketeers Challenge, sponsored this month by the fantastic Crafty Ribbons. They have very kindly, given the DT members a bag of assorted ribbon each, that will last us for the other 2 challenges later on this year that Crafty Ribbons are sponsoring us again... Im sure that each of us DT members have chosen different variety of colours/type of ribbon(s) to use.....

The image I used for my project is from The Stamping Boutique (its one that another DT I am proud to be on, were given to use at Christmas for the 12 Days of Christmas theme that we did.
As it was a Christmas image I decided to use the  Grosgrain silver/grey and white snowflake ribbon. Along with the pale/pastel blues of the Papermania Capsule 12x12 inch paper as both backing paper & matt/layering, the faux clear gems as "stars" in opposite corners, the simple "Just For You" sentiment, the flat backed faux pearls are my take on snowflakes (lol).
Therefore, with the snowflake ribbon & the flat backed pearls I have met the challenge needs...

I hope you like this card and will take part in the challenge. You have until 8pm on 30th March to get your entries in.Click here to go to the original challenge post to link up your entry.

Cordelia from The Greeting Farm....

Hiya peeps

Today I would like to show you a card that I made for a couple of blog challenges. I decided to go with a new (to me) digi company called The Greeting Farm, where I found some delightful images, Cordelia included. As it was then, I could only afford to buy the one digi and I loved the little hearts on the bottom of her dress. I followed a sketch too for another challenge but Im too late for that a Ive been busy with 4 commission cards!! One of which was a Mothers Day card with 2 days notice but, a always, I did manage it. A post with these cards on will be done asap.

This card is an 8x8 inch white linen effect cardstock from Papermill Direct
Backing papers are all from the same collection: Papermania Capsule Collection by Jesse Edwards in shades of dusky/coral pinks in 12x12 inch size,
The flourishes are cut using both a Joy Designs and Cheery Lynn Designs dies.
Crocheted lace and faux pearl effect brads are from my own stash.
The digital image is coloured using Promarkers & Flexmarkers
