DT post for Rick St Dennis

Its time today for a new challenge over at

Rick St Dennis Challenge blog #5

where the theme is

"Anything Goes or Clowning Around (use a clown image)"

I used an image called Zombie Clown

to make a wall hanging so my daughter could use it in her bedroom

I first printed the digi on to card instead of my usual paper and

its the texture of that which gives the clown its unusual look.

It was also that I used watercolour pencils to colour him

The outer part of the mdf frame I used an embellishment mousse

from the Nuvo collection by Tonic Studios.  The mousse

I used is a colour called Peony Pink using a natural sponge to

create the rough application.

Gerda Steiner Progressive Challenge for July 2017

My Make for the Gerda Steiner Progressive Challenge for July 2017

I die cut the card base using a die from a Spellbinders set,
making sure that the die didnt slip so I had a fold. I also die cut two of
the smaller dies from the same set so I had a colour between the two white
cards, this was so the alternative colour would compliment
the strawberry printed ribbon & bow..
I had coloured the cute image using my tinned set of watercolour pencils
which I think gives the image a soft edge that I prefer.

DT post for Rick St Dennis Challenge Blog

Hiya peeps

Its time for the next challenge for
Rick St Dennis
on the Sparkle and Glitter Blog, (Link above)

My project for this challenge uses an image from, the front cover of
one of Ricks beautiful colouring books, which are available from
There are loads of Rick's adult colouring books available on Amazon as
well as loads, over 1000 images available on the Zibbet website HERE.

I used a pre cut card blank & added 2 die cut toppers from my own
stash. In fact all of the items used were from my stash.
(Im trying not to buy anymore craft stuff as I have way too much
stock as it is. I did succumb to the Amazon Prime sale day though).

I hope you join in with the new challenge.

Hiya peeps,

This post/card is for this month's blog challenge for
Not Just Cards

Our fabulous sponsor for this challenge is Aurella

by the artist, is called Karmina.

I coloured her in using my set of watercolour pencil crayons.
All of the items used to make this card are from my own stash.
I did use Stickles glitter glue on the mask and down the striped
handle. The size of the card is 8 inches square.

I hope you like both my card and will join in with our challenge

Tulip & Bugs, June 2017

Hiya peeps

Today''s make is a basic A5 rectangle card using an A4 piece of
smooth finish white card from Papermill Direct which is a paper & card
manufacturer in the Lake District.
The image that I coloured using my set of WH Smith water colour pencil
crayons. i was following blog challenge themes of  "Rectangle" and a game of "Bingo" using "Ribbon/Die & Sentiment", plus loads of other  challenges.
I also used Stickles glue, in "Candy Cane" red on the Butterfly and Tonic Studio
"Nuyo" Glitter Accents on the wing tips. The coloured image is then glued, using a liquid glue so it lays flat against the turquoise/white diagonal stripped mini scalloped die cut rectangle card. I then sellotaped a piece of navy blue mini gingham checked ribbon on the back of the semi gloss mirri card
so that it sits across the width. That large piece of semi gloss mirri card was then glued to the white base card using silicone glue gel drops so it sat a
small distance away & then glued the topper on the card base.
The final touches were to glue the hand tied ribbon bow, the small round sentiment
and the single ladybug on to the various parts of the decorated card.

An apology plus my first make in 4 months

Hiya peeps

Im so sorry that Ive not been on here showing off my makes, both DT
& my own designs for challenges. The reason for the lack of work is
that I was in hospital for almost 7 weeks!!
Its a long story so I wont go into details as it would only bore you.

What I have made is a tent fold card with a design by Gerda Steiner
called Hello Friend Turtle and I coloured him using water colour pencils.
The ribbon  is from my own stash & I apologize as I can't remember
where I  brought it from. The dies, doily is from Marianne Designs,
and the mini scalloped rectangle die is from Tonic Studios.

I wish to enter this card into the following challenges:

Gerda Steiner Progressive Challenge for June

Animal Friends Challenge - Animal with wings

Allsorts Challenge Wk 419 - Use at least two dies

Card Mania Challenge -Buttons &/or Bows

Scrap n Dipity sponsored Not Just Cards this month...

For this months project, on behalf of Not Just Cards,
I made a Birthday card using a digi from our sponsor
for February, Scrap n Dipity, called Scribble Sally Fairy Friend.

I coloured her using my watercolour pencils aswanted a
soft look. The glitter dragon is cut from glitter card using
a craft magazine freebie gift. After mounting the image
on the pale orange card I used a piece of ribbon from
Crafty Ribbons. The resin flowers are a part of the
Me2You Tatty Ted range from Docrafts. The words
& the die to cut the white card panel are from my stock.

The theme for our challenge over at our blog is 'Spring'
and you have until the 9th March to enter for a chance
to win some digi images from our sponsor Scrap n Dipity
