A Skully Christmas.....

Hiya peeps

My last card for a couple of days as I have too much to do,
craft wise, so I must stop posting on here.... lol

Anyway, this card was made for The Outlawz Challenges
but I never got round to using it as I found an ever better one.
Still, I have hidden this card at home as I decided to give this
to my youngest daughter Tia, who at 21 is a skull mad young woman.

This fabulous & perfect image is the product of artist
Andrea Morris, who, on Etsy, opened her shop called

Its a large almost 9in square made with A4 white cardstock
from Papermill Direct, from whom I buy 99% of my cardstock.
(I prefer to buy my white card (225gsm weight) from them as it
is such an excellent cardstock to use & I havent found anymore
that meets their high quality., on top of that you can buy it in bulk).

I added the black & white Merry Christmas ribbon
(from Crafty Ribbons, securing it at the back of the copper
coloured mirri cardstock, then secured that to the  base card.
I added the Christmas Tree paper (it looks like pine tree branches).
I printed the image, at A5 size, off onto 225gsm Papermill Direct card, (the same white cardstock as the card was made out of), then coloured it with pencil crayons, following the shading on the skull. I used the silver metallic effect pencil out of my crayon set to form the holder, (where the string goes through to hold the decoration on the tree). I topped the finished image on to silver coloured mirri,
then on to black coloured cardstock, then adding foam tape at regular intervals then positioning it on the card. After mounting, a magical paste, called Glitter Snow, was added to the hat trim and pom pom.
The finishing touch are the copper coloured gems (top right and bottom left). I hope you like the finished result as much as I do,
and, I am sure that my daughter will do.
