Im a Guest Design Team Member for....

Hiya peeps

Yes I am a GDT again today for....

The theme this week is Plaid!
So being of a Scottish theme I went for an A5 portrait style
card in a cream hammered effect card, rounding the corners to
give a better effect with the topper. I cut a piece of 12 x 12 inch
of green mirror card and topped that with the piece of plaid paper that I had already stuck on a piece of wide coppery coloured ribbon to it.
Again that was a 12 x 12 inch to begin with and the corners were
rounded. I had the beige gingham checked oval die cut topper cut
already (I have quite a variety in a tub lol). Its a mini scalloped oval die cut using the Tonic Studios set. After colouring
Penny Dragon Christmas Pudding using blue, green & silver
metallics from my set of 160 pencil crayons, I then stuck her
to the oval topper using 2mm foam tape and again on to the actual
card over the top of the wide coppery coloured ribbon.
The "Merry Christmas" is die cut, again from Tonic Studios, then stuck onto a Spellbinders die cut topper, cut from the same cream
hammered effect cardstock (from Papermill Direct's website) using Collall photo glue. That was stuck on to the actual card using the
same 2mm foam tape. I finished the card off using the 3 coloured
pearls in 2 shades of green and the tartan (or Plaid) ribbon bow.

I hope you like the finished card...

I am entering this card into the following challenges:
