DT card for Crafty Ribbons Challenge Blog, 16th June

Hiya peeps

Today I am showing you a card that Ive made for my DT post for
Crafty Ribbons Challenge Blog where the theme for the "bows" team,
of which I am on, is a favourite of everyones, being Anything Goes!!

I have made a smallish card using part of a kit from
Lelli-Bots, Daisy Daisy toppers & papers kit, a piece of Spring Green A3
250gsm smooth card from Papermill Direct,

I used one topper (it has a thin silver effect foiled border just in from the edge)
and using foam pads (2mm thick) stuck it to one of the backing papers and
then stuck the animal shaped buttons on (well a bird, a butterfly & a snail)
The ribbon is just one small strip & a smallish bow stuck down to the strip.

I hope you like this card & can find the inspiration to join in with our
Anything Goes challenge which can be found HERE

DT card for Not Just Cards Challenge Blog.. June 2016

Hiya peeps

Todays post is all about the latest challenge over at
where the sponsors, All Dressed Up are offering a fab prize of
2 free digital images of your choice.

I decided to make a largish 8 x 8 inch card and followed a sketch
on another blog. All the items used are from my own stash and all
cutting dies are from Spellbinders or Tonic Studios.
I coloured the image with alcoholic marker pens and Stabilo fineliner
pens.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

My turn on the Inspiration Blog for Crafty Ribbon (2 June 2016)

Hiya peeps

A little late in the day but at least it is still the same day as I
posted this card, minus the Father's Day sentiment on this

To tell you about a new challenge starting over at
Crafty Ribbons today and the theme, chosen by me, is
Masculine/Transport but no women on the creation.

For the Inspiration Blog I have made a Steam Train card
using cardstock from Hunkydory as the background
but the main thing of interest is the stamped image
to which I think is now discontinued.
(Loads of fabulous stamps are still available though).
I also did not include the Father's Day sentiment earlier today.

The main focus for this blog post today is the ribbon that I have used.
It is an off white but not the bridal white, it is
9mm grosgrain printed with WITH LOVE with a stitch effect edge and hearts.  Printed on one side only
This ribbon is EXCLUSIVE to Crafty Ribbon

DT make for Crafty Ribbons Challenge - theme is Masculine/Transport NO Women in the make.....

Good Morning peeps

Time for a new challenge at Crafty Ribbons, to which I have chosen,
is Masculine/Transport NO women but the main thing is to add Ribbon!!!

For my card, a landscape A4 is made by folding an A4 white linen effect
250gsm card from Papermill Direct. (I buy online direct from the
manufacturer and you can buy in small packs).
The gold foiled dotty spotty cardstock is from my own stash but Im sure
its an old Hunkydory stock. I matt & layered the stamped image of
Traction Engine by Stamps Away on to layers of matt gold
& mirri gold, angled it to give the card a different layout
than just placed straight on in my opinion.
Going back to the spotty dotty gold foiled, I stuck the
lighter piece of card on to the larger one and then added a piece of
10mm gold grosgrain ribbon and stuck it to the rear of the cardstock,
using sellotape at both top & bottom. After the
background cardstock was stuck down to the white base card
I added the ribbon knot which is glued to its place, using
silicone glue gel and that is it!!!

The card doesn't need anything else due to the spotty dotty
background so take a small bit of inspiration from my card....

Enter the challenge.... just dont forget to use ribbon, not lace
or twine, just ribbon.
