Reindeers galore, with ribbon ???

Hiya peeps

I have 2 cards for you today, both for my DT post on behalf of Crafty Ribbons where a new challenge goes live, This week, still in the overall theme of Christmas, our challenge theme is that your make must have a/some Rudolph/Reindeers on it, but not forgetting the Ribbon though.

Looking at the cards, on the left is a cartoon type reindeer on which is, along with the sentiment, from Create & Craft members downloads. I just topped them with paper die cuts and stuck on to a digi backing paper from The Paper Shelter (trimmed to size though). I added the gems & charm from my own stash. The beautiful red shade of velvet ribbon is called Beauty and available from HERE.

The 2nd card, on the right below, is made using a decoupage sheet from La Pashe, from the Tinsel Tots Collection called Rudolph and Co. I have had the decoupage sheets collection for a while now so I dont know if they are still available or not. The backing mirror card is in a gorgeous red and topped with a beautiful Nordic style red & white paper from Kanban's Christmas Wishes 8x8 inch paper pad. (I fully recommend this as its full of the most gorgeous papers, decoupage and toppers that you could wish for. I also used a small piece of the red mirror card as a topper after sticking a die cut sentiment (Tattered Lace) on to it. The ribbon I used for this card is from The Festive Combos - Penguins Collection which is EXCLUSIVE to Crafty Ribbons.

I wish to enter the following challenges with one or both of these cards

A Silent Night, Holy Night for Crafty Ribbons

Hiya peeps

Well, It seems as though Ive got a big apology to make to you!!!

I thought I had scheduled this to post on the day the challenge went live, I even set the time & date

but somehow this post never got live for you all to see. ;(

My card for this weeks challenge theme, Christmas Carols with ribbon

My winter scene card represents the peacefulness of the countyside/woodlands when its been snowing overnight or during the day.  I love this picture. Its from the Window to the Heart collection from approx 2 years ago by Hunkydory (cut down to fit the card).
The Love Peace and Joy ribbon by Crafty Ribbons where you will find loads of new & exclusive
ribbons & buttons for this Christmas and everyday use. Oh, and there are kits for you to complete
of tree hangers, advent calendars and other felt/ribbon kits. Everything on the website are worth a look!
I must also apologise too, for the fact that not all the new ribbons have been uploaded to the website yet. The owners of Crafty Ribbons are away at exhibitions busy selling some of the gorgeous stock.

Anyway, please check out the latest challenge, you still have a few hours left to enter your take on
Christmas Carols with (and dont forget) the ribbon ;)  Then on Thursday the new challenge from the Buttons team will go live.

I hope you like my card.

Santa says Ho Ho Ho for Crafty Ribbons Inspirational Blog

Morning peeps,

Its a horrible day here with rain and damp weather and Im so unlucky today as Ive got a hospital appointment so Ive got to go out.
Still I wont be away long so I will still have time to craft.

For now, I would like to show you one of my latest makes, featuring one of the new Christmas ribbon releases.  I have only used one of the 2 ribbons available that are in this wonderful kit called The Festive Combos - Santa. I have used the 9mm words ribbons that say Ho Ho Ho and its available in a 1.5mtr length strip or 10mtr length rolls.

The base card is from Craftwork Cards.
The Santa topper is from Kanban.
The red & white dotty paper is from my own stash as is the gold mirror card that I have used as a backer for the Santa topper and the faux clear and red gems.
The white grosgrain ribbon with red Ho Ho Ho printed on is exclusive to us here on our Website.

I used all of the above, with the help of double sided tape, glue and foam pads, to make a 6 x 6 inch
square card and the ribbon being stuck at an angle instead of the usual down or across. I much prefer
to place the ribbons at an odd angle if the layout goes with the effect.

Thats all for now... see you later peeps  ;)

I am entering this card into the following challenges:
