Sentiment Only for Crafting Musketeers Midway Reminder Challenge

Hiya peeps

A DT card today for Crafting Musketeers, using a single topper by Kanban & part of one sheet of foiled card from the same pack. Unfortunately I cant remember what the name of the kit is, just that it is from KANBAN.  The one backing sheet that I had I just with the topper and cut 2 striips each 2 inch wide gluing them to either side of the landscape side of the card base, from papermill direct. adding the 3 different layers of ribbons. The large red base ribbon and the  ribbon are from Red Happy Christmas word are both from Crafty Ribbons but I dont know where I bought the white & silver snowflakes ribbon but it is sooo gorgeous.

Snowman Character Cut Card.... For 2 Design Team's Challenge Entries

I must apologise for this post being late, Ive had problems uploading the photos
I wanted to show you. Its taken me 3 days to sort my laptop out to enable me to
upload this post to Bloglovin' so it is visible to everyone to see that searches for it.

Hiya peeps,

Today I am showing you a card that I made just by enlarging a digi stamp from
Bugaboo and he's called Lil Snowman Star

This card was made for IWO blog challenges, both have the same end result.

It was made for the Crafty Ribbons Challenge #138 of which the theme is a HAND CUT CHARACTER or  SHAPED CARD  with ribbon and the PRIZE is a

I also made this card for a new Design Team called Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Challenge Extra

It is a post with a linky for you to enter any Christmas cards that you make - the theme will always be 'anything goes' - you can use any materials, any techniques etc as long as the end result is a Christmas card.

a post with a linky for you to enter any Christmas cards that you make - the theme will always be 'anything goes' - you can use any materials, any techniques etc as long as the end result is a Christmas card.

Challenges will end at 22:00 UK time on the last day of the month.

Making the card was fairly easy. I got 2 sheets of A4 white card & made them into an 8x8in card base.
I just enlarged the snowman in Windows photo viewer which when you click on
"print" it comes up in options to print the image from one A4 size printed image
down to having 35 small prints!!
I printed this out in the A4 size but not fitting it to the page size so it was just under that. I then glued the digi image onto the base & then cut around the outer edge leaving the right hand side almost complete so it was still able to open as a card.
I used new alcohol markers from Harmony to colour snowman and added Stickles glue glitter to colour the ear muffs and the spinner top of the hanging star (well thats what I think it is) lol
The last thing to do was to add the green polka dot grosgrain ribbon. This  width is 25mm which unfortunately is not available anymore but there is a 15mm width of the same design available HERE

Crafty Ribbons is asking: Christmas Socks for washing or presents??

Hiya peeps

Yes, its our weekly time for the Crafty Ribbons Challenge Blog and this week the theme is Christmas Socks!!!!! The alteration to weekly challenges is only because of Countdown to Christmas.

Your prize this week is a £10 voucher for the Crafty Ribbons Website

My card consisted of an image called Stocking Line from Bugaboo
The design is on a tent style base card made from an A4 sheet of card from Papermill Direct
Backing paper is from Kanban "Christmas Wishes" Paper pad
The sentiment is one of my own words
The ribbon is, of course, called Wash Day Ribbon - Stocking Washing from Crafty Ribbons
Image coloured in with Graph It alcoholic marker pens and the top of the stockings were
sprinkled with "Snow Dust" from Pinflair to give a glittery flakey touch & see to the card.

I hope you like this basic card (even though it doesnt look like it because of the backing paper that I used. Please ask if you would like to know anything else

Anything but Square for Crafting Musketeers Challenge theme for this month reminder

Hiya peeps

Its time for Crafting Musketeers Challenge Midway Reminder and the theme is Anything But Square with a fabulous website called JGD Crafts who are sponsoring us

I used my Spellbinders Grand Scalloped Circles, Grand Circles and normal circles to make an easel card, using 2 pieces of A3 size card in Spring Green from Papermill Direct.

The image is from Lili Of The Valley's beautiful art pad which is an A6 size pad of pre coloured images ready to use so I cut out this beautiful fairy.

The ribbon is from Crafty Ribbons available in their Christmas Section

To make the snow effect around the image I used a "paste" called Glitter Snow" by Aleene and its wonderful quality is an asset to any winter card that needs snow.
I hope you can find time to join in with the challenge or just make an "Anything but Square" card or project ;

My first post for Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Extra Challenge Blog

Hiya peeps,

Yes, Ive been invited to be on the DT for another Challenge blog and I have accepted. I am extremely proud to announce that I am now on the DT for
Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Challenge Extra Blog

For my first project with CHCC2 I decided to use the cheery image of Gus Christmas - Pimp My Sled  and the fabulous sentiment that comes with the digi download.
Gus is a fabulous character to work with, so easy to colour, to which I used a mixture of Graph It and Sakura Gelly Roll Glitter pens. The background card is from an old kit I had in my own stash and I no longer had any paperwork with it so I dont know which company designed/made it. Silver mirror card used behind that is available from the majority of craft shops/websites. The base card I always try to use is from Papermill Direct Website.
The music notes are cut using my Tattered Lace dies and the Seasons Greeting sentiment was cut from my set of Marianne Designs die.

I hope you like my card as much as I do and that you will join us over at the challenge, you could win an awesome prize of digi stamps from Gus' designer Bugaboo..
The challenge blog is now live!! Come across & join me & the rest of the DT, we are looking forward to seeing your fabulous makes.

Reindeers galore, with ribbon ???

Hiya peeps

I have 2 cards for you today, both for my DT post on behalf of Crafty Ribbons where a new challenge goes live, This week, still in the overall theme of Christmas, our challenge theme is that your make must have a/some Rudolph/Reindeers on it, but not forgetting the Ribbon though.

Looking at the cards, on the left is a cartoon type reindeer on which is, along with the sentiment, from Create & Craft members downloads. I just topped them with paper die cuts and stuck on to a digi backing paper from The Paper Shelter (trimmed to size though). I added the gems & charm from my own stash. The beautiful red shade of velvet ribbon is called Beauty and available from HERE.

The 2nd card, on the right below, is made using a decoupage sheet from La Pashe, from the Tinsel Tots Collection called Rudolph and Co. I have had the decoupage sheets collection for a while now so I dont know if they are still available or not. The backing mirror card is in a gorgeous red and topped with a beautiful Nordic style red & white paper from Kanban's Christmas Wishes 8x8 inch paper pad. (I fully recommend this as its full of the most gorgeous papers, decoupage and toppers that you could wish for. I also used a small piece of the red mirror card as a topper after sticking a die cut sentiment (Tattered Lace) on to it. The ribbon I used for this card is from The Festive Combos - Penguins Collection which is EXCLUSIVE to Crafty Ribbons.

I wish to enter the following challenges with one or both of these cards
