Before you say anything...........
Yes, I have been busy while i've not been posting on here.!!! lol ;)
I've had my first commission for a set of wedding stationary, well, invites for day & evening but it's a start, and a challenge. More on that soon. In other words, Wait and See!!!
Back to Alicia's Challenge;
The task is to make anything, using one of Alicia's digi stamps and the theme is to use your favourite crafty item on your creation!
My favourite crafty item has got to be my Spellbinders cutting dies....
I used a pale purple (but not quite lilac) cardstock, manufactured and supplied direct from the Lake District in an A3 size. I then used my "Grand Nestabilities" "Scalloped Circles" dies to cut the main card, making sure that I left a fold on one side so I had a spine on the card "hence the shaped card".
The shaped brown backing paper was cut using a die just one size smaller than the main card, then as I had printed my image the day before, I was able to immediately use one of my Spellbinders "Grand Nestabilities" "Grand Circles" die to cut a perfect circle around the image.
I then coloured the young lady in using some of my crafty stash of Promarkers.
The smaller die cuts were cut from Spellbinders & Marianne Designs (I've only got a couple of sets of dies that aren't Spellbinders). I used a metallic purple pen to write the sentiment on the plain die cut circle.
The pink dotty ribbon is also from my stash.
I am entering this card into the following blog challenge:
